As I mentioned earlier I’ve recently begun experimenting with different types of photography. Over the weekend I made some still life images. Here is one of my favorites.

In the Studio

I’m in the process of turning a portion of our large, concrete building behind our house into a photography studio.  I know this will be an on-going process, but it will allow me to experiment with alternative types of photography that I haven’t previously given much thought to.

 For example, a couple of nights ago I made these photos of water droplets.  Everything I needed to make these photos I pulled from around the house and garage.  For such a long time I only focused on nature photography; wildlife and landscapes.  And although I intend to continue photographing nature I’m also looking forward to exploring my creative side.
